Mark Jordan Driving School have provided me with a comprehensive, thorough and, most of all, fun experience in my driving lessons. These lessons have resulted in me passing my driving test first time.

My instructor, Phil, has been a great teacher. At first, driving (especially manual!) was daunting to me, but very quickly he taught me how enjoyable driving can be through his detailed yet clear approach to tuition.

His friendly and understandable demeanour helped me feel more comfortable in the driver’s seat, naturally helping me make fewer mistakes.

Phil takes a lot of pride in his work, striving for perfection in his students. This, no doubt, set me up for success in my driving test and beyond.

I highly recommend Mark Jordan Driving School. My experience has been outstanding, and there clearly is a high standard set for all instructors part of the school. Thank you Phil and to the driving school for teaching me to drive, and helping me get through my test!

Every lesson I was made comfortable and Phil was extremely helpful in ensuring I was relaxed and prepared for my test with full confidence.

I knew Mark Jordan Driving School was the correct place for me as it was highly recommended with good reason.

Phil has made every lesson a pleasure with jokes and his patience and i truly believe i could not have had a better instructer as he always gave me challenges and it was clear he had genuine care and confidence in all of his pupils.

They say that sometimes bad things have to happen before good things can. However, none of that is true for my driving lessons with Richard Wall at Mark Jordan Driving School.

And for this I have no one to thank more than my instructor, Richard. I believe Richard to be the quintessential driving instructor, his calm and positive presence are a must have in an instructor. To put it simply, Richard was the most spectacular instrcutor a new driver could ask for. In particular, i believe Richard's teaching style to be a great factor in this belief, as even during tense moments, he is always able to keep as calm a mood as one can have after stalling at the same round-about 5 different times, and is always able to lighten the mood with a joke, as well as providing support without feeling judgemental or condescending, even during the worst of moments.

II can't think of any other driving school than Mark Jordan Driving School as my choice of school to learn driving with, not because I haven't been with any other driving school, but because I can't think of any reason why I would choose anyone else - and it's all thanks to my amazing instructor Richard Wall. I'm the type of person to get nervous very easily because of my habit of overthinking everything, however Richard from the start has made me feel more comfortable behind the wheel than I thought I could ever be. Without Richard, I don't think there would be another person who could replace his patient, understanding and caring attitude, and his reassurance in doubtful or stressful times has made me believe that I can in fact drive, really well even. Every time I was unsure on something I wasn't afraid to ask Richard about it, and when I did he'd always go through my concerns with me in a clear and helpful way that made me understand; like if I needed help understanding a scenario on a roundabout, Richard was happy to give demonstrations on his iPad to help me clearly understand and visualise the scenario and then afterwards giving it a go whilst actually driving, and this really helped with building my confidence and knowing I'm prepared to do the right thing. I also appreciate Richard's effort in observing what I could do in the next lessons to further improve on my driving, as most of the time.....

The main reason I chose this driving school was its excellent reputation, high pass rates, and positive reviews.

I wanted to learn with an instructor who was patient, supportive, and experienced.
Other important factors included flexible lesson times, reasonable prices, and a friendly learning environment.

Learning to drive was challenging at times, but it was much more enjoyable than I expected, and my confidence grew with every lesson. My instructor, Mark , was fantastic throughout the whole process.

His teaching methods were clear, patient, and tailored to my pace, which made me feel comfortable asking questions and helped me build confidence behind the wheel.

I would definitely recommend this driving school to others because of the professional and encouraging approach.
The lessons were well organised, enjoyable, and gave me the skills and confidence to become a safe driver.

I've had a great experience with 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 and my instructor Richard Wall.

From lesson one I was riddled with nerves and making silly mistakes however Richard kept reassuring me and eased my nerves, which helped my driving improve a lot.

He made it really enjoyable! Each lesson was something new and Richard talked me through every step of the way with plenty of helpful tips and tricks.

He was also happy to answer any of my questions no matter how silly they might've seemed too. With Richards tuition and understanding I managed to pass first time! Thank you!

Originally i thought driving would be scary and i’d be u able to learn quickly, however with my instructor Mark, i was able to pick up on driving really quickly and easily.

Not only was Mark a patient instructor but also easy to talk to when feeling overwhelmed with driving. His teaching style allowed me to understand things efficiently with step by step processes that helped me grasp things quicker.

Mark made it easy to ask questions and not feel pressured to get things straight away, i feel like a confident and safe driver after learning with him.

Verbal and physical feedback given after the lessons helped me to know how to improve on things outside of lessons and improve my driving skills.

I chose 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 after many bad experiences with previous instructors.

Due to my anxiety I find it extremely hard to meet new people and even drive. Phil my instructor came out to meet me before our lessons so I could get to know him before being in a car with him.

I was extremely anxious and terrified of driving due to previous experiences, but Phil has been the best person out there to guide me through it. He was patient with me, understanding and puts me at ease with his laidback demeanour.

He truly is one of the best teachers I could have found. I definitely would not have passed without him. He gave me so much confidence and helped me through my anxiety.

Phil is such a genuine person that it feels easy when driving with him. I couldn’t recommend anyone better… I truly enjoyed my lessons rather than them being a worry or triggering my anxiety.

I cannot thank my instructor, Richard Wall, enough for his support over the past eight months. I know I wasn’t the easiest student to teach, but he never gave up on me. In every single lesson, he was there to encourage me and keep me going.

Even though there was a language barrier between us, Richard was incredibly patient. He taught me in a way that I could actually understand and enjoy. He truly went above and beyond; we didn’t just focus on test routes. To get me out of my comfort zone, he took me to Loughborough and Nottingham to ensure I was a confident driver in general, not just a ‘test’ driver.

I also know I wouldn’t have passed the first time if I hadn’t followed Richard’s advice to move my test date when he knew I wasn’t quite ready. To anyone looking to learn to drive,

When you look for a driving instructor, you always want someone that makes driving feel like a fun extra part to your day and not a chore. I feel like ,taking that into account, I struck gold with 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠

I had Phil Booth as my instructor and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He felt more like a friend you were having a chat with, whilst he was teaching you how to drive, than just another boring driving instructor.

He always found ways to adapt his ways of teaching me, especially if it was something I was prone to struggle with whilst keeping it at an extremely high standard.

Phil wasn’t just amazing with his teaching skills and adaptability per pupil, he’s an amazing character that understands everyone’s personal lives. If lessons ever needed changing and schedules were to change he never held it against you, because he understood that everyone had different circumstances.

As much as I haven’t interacted with any of the other instructors in the school, i’m sure this is the exact same with everyone else within the 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠.

I’d recommend 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 to anyone looking for a driving instructor as now i’m done, whilst i’m extremely happy, i’ll always miss the lessons I had with Phil and the discussions we used to have.

When I was looking for someone to learn to drive with, I looked around for local people at first but after seeing a lack of reviews and other such things that gave me a sense of confidence in the people.

I decided I wanted to look for professionally and so I did, and I decided I wanted it to be a driving school, so I looked around and read reviews and came to the conclusion that 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 was my best bet.

Throughout my experience from first lesson to passed test my instructer was absaloutly brilliant in communicating anything and everything he needed to.

It never felt unfair or intimidating to recieve criticism because all of it was accurate and guiding and never belittiling, I was worried before I started I would maybe not get along with whoever I had and it would feel impersonal, I was increadibly wrong and for that I want to give the biggest thanks I can to Mr Phill booth for doing everything he could to get me test ready and safe on the road.

Another thing i wish to mention for anyone who’s considering this school is that their management with lessons and cancelations is brilliant, theres no being messed around and the instructers wont blow you off and give you unreasonable excuses or cancel lessons for seemingly no reason.

If theres ever a situation that deems your lesson time needing to be canceled I can say with 99% certanty that there was a perfectly good reason such as unsuitable weather conditions or maybe another student is on test with your instructers car.

I would without a doubt and allready have reccomended 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 as a brilliant choice for anyone looking for a proffesional and structured learning experience, they are reliable and wonderful people.

Honestly I couldn’t have chose any better as Mark who was my instructor made sure that my driving was comfortable and would help me through anything no matter how big or small the situation was.

I feel most people worry about meeting their instructors as a lot of time is spent with them and I can assure you that Mark and his instructors are all very lovely and all welcoming.

I passed today first time!!!

I picked 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 after reading fantastic reviews with instructors that had years of experience behind them and brilliant pass rates.

Richard was my instructor and I cant say anything other than he was brilliant,(his head will swell reading that) I was instantly at ease and felt comfortable from the get go and could completely and unapologetically be myself.

Never did I feel awkward when I made some questionable driving moves and Richard never once made me feel uncomfortable when I made them, never a raised voice or condescending tone just a smile and a talk through what went wrong and how can we make it better.

Driving lessons dont need to be uncomfortable or make you anxious and Richard definitely made me realise that straight away. We had many a laughs whilst learning and at the time I would think “hes gone mad” when he mentioned a character from jungle book or the many other random weird things he would come out with while learning, they actually all served a purpose and made it and easy and a relatable method of teaching.

Always being asked what I didn’t feel comfortable with and what I would want to do again if my test was the next day put the ball in my court and made it a fun and comfortable journey to getting my licence.

I recommend 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 and most definitely recommend Richard as an instructor and couldn’t be happier with the end result.

Yes it takes time and perseverance but with the right instructor you will get there.

When finding an instructor you want someone is competent in teaching and full of knowledge about different scenarios. Making sure they are well qualified and able to carry out the task at hand.

My driving instructor Phil made this experience and learning curve incredible. Always keeping a positive atmosphere and making me feel heard when learning to drive. Phil was always flexible when I needed to change my lesson times for work and always did his best to cater to my needs.

I could never recall a time I didn’t want to go to my lesson with Phil because of how enjoyable and immersive he made it. The way he went about teaching different techniques were easy to wrap your head around and intensely detailed the same time.

Phil always cares for his students and wants all of his pupils to succeed. I truly believe 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 is an amazing driving school and would definitely recommend to people if they wanted to start learning to drive, they provide plenty of of resources and information on there website such as; the driving theory section, allowing pupils to practice there theory without paying for extra services.

The most important thing for me when choosing a driving school was finding an instructor who is patient, understanding, supportive, and genuinely willing to put in the time and effort to help me progress.

My instructor was Phil , who was absolutely amazing, enhancing my ability to drive every week by boosting my confidence and awareness on the road , without getting impatient or making me feel out of place. He always encouraged me to step out my comfort zone and made the lessons enjoyable with his sense of humour and different teaching methods, which ultimately lead me to pass first time.

Phil not only cares about his pupils and wants them to succeed and pass first time, but also makes the lessons be a highlight of your week and something to look forward to.

The experience of learning to drive can at first seem daunting, but having chosen to learn with Mark Jordan driving school, my instructor Phil made the process easy,

enjoyable and undaunting.

Phil is a very friendly, understanding and patient instructor, taking the learning of driving at your pace and is more than willing to spend multiple weeks going over stuff if you are struggling to get your head around it, or by teaching different methods to learn certain aspects of driving.

Even after I failed my first test due to a silly error on my part, Phil kept me calm and encouraged me that my driving was at a good level, which helped me to prepare well and pass my test on my second attempt.

I wanted a driving school that was close to me and offered block lessons and where I would be supported on my journey to passing and making sure manual lessons were an option and flexibility.

After reading their reviews I decided on giving Mark Jordan Driving a Call.

The experience was much better than I expected, where I was living before I was taking lessons but was really struggling to pick up the skills needed.

But with Mark Jordan driving school I felt myself gaining confidence a lot quicker and learning the skills I needed easier.

I Passed first time, with zero minors, all thanks to Phil at Mark Jordan Driving School.
Had a fantastic experience from start to finish and Phil helped me get over my initial anxieties over getting into a larger vehicle after riding motorbikes near daily for a number of years.

Phil was calm, knowledgable and a great person to talk to and to get to know and kept the overall tone light whilst still making sure I knew where I was going wrong and how to improve.

When finding a driving school I really valued good reviews, and its reputation from friends and family. After a positive recommendation and reading great reviews, I decided this was the best driving school for me.

This was the correct decision, as I was originally very nervous prior to my lessons but mark was so friendly and easy to get on with, i was soon much less anxious.

Additionally, marks teaching was great, I felt I really understood how the car worked and why I should make each decision.

He was incredibly patient and encouraging even when mistakes were made. At the end of each lesson, we would discuss how I had driven and he let me identify my mistakes so we could find a solution for next time. These were also available for me to read in my notes, meaning I could prioritise fixing my weaknesses in my own practise.

I am so happy to have passed with only 2 minors and first time, whilst I was shocked Mark always believed I could do it. I could not have done it with any other instructor, and would 100% recommend Mark Jordan Driving School to others!

I am so thankful and it’s great to be on the roads and confidently driving independently!

When choosing who I was going to learn to drive with I wanted them to have good reviews , which is when I found Mark Jordan Driving School through Facebook.

I also found it important that my instructor was easy to get on with, which Mark who was my instructor definitely was. On my first lesson Mark put me at ease straight away.

Before I started to learn to drive I was nervous and worried I wouldn’t get along with my instructor but that was actually the opposite.

The way Mark taught me was really good, allowing me to take my time and tackle new situations and obstacles at my own pace and never rushing me, he even taught me what to do when your car breaks down at a junction.

Mark would discuss with me at the end of each lesson the things that went well and the things I could practice in my own car, these notes were then sent to me every week.

My journey has been challenging at times but Mark was always at hand to help me work out how to push through, it all paid off as I can’t actually believe I passed 1st time with no faults, I actually didn’t believe the examiner and asked them to say it again.

When choosing a driving school, I looked into which schools were highly recommended and what reviews had to say.

With Mark Jordan Driving being the most highly rated and having the best reviews, I decided to book my first block of 4 two hour lessons, this is another reason I wanted to learn with this school as I thought having the extra time would benefit me and it definitely did.

Learning to drive was quite difficult to begin with for me as I wasn’t great at remembering exactly what to do, but Mark my instructor always allowed time for me to go over whatever I needed and didn’t rush me to go into new things when I didn’t feel ready.

I also had one of the instructors that Mark was training (Phil) with us for a few lessons who was lovely too and although he wasn’t my instructor I would recommend him as well as he was also easy to talk to, the same as Mark.

Mark also used an ipad to explain certain driving things and show me pictures of some of the more difficult roundabouts and other parts of burton which really helped. I really enjoyed learning with Mark as he also allowed me to decide what I wanted to do/learn each lesson.

During one of my lessons with Mark he also had to teach me how to deal with a break down which was very useful incase I need to know in the future.

I would recommend this driving school, especially Mark himself to anyone looking for lessons, he always made sure I was comfortable enough to ask questions even if we had been over it many times before ( parallel parking, sorry Mark)

I would definitely recommend Mark Jordan Driving school for lessons if you want a reliable and calm instructor that makes you feel comfortable from the very first lesson.

Thank you Mark for the lessons, building my confidence up and helping me achieve a first time pass.
